Please be informed that with effect from April 15 2019, Citibank Singapore Limited will operate under a new SWIFT Bank Identifier Code ("BIC") and Bank Code for SGD payment instructions. The new BIC and Bank Code are set out in the table below.
To ensure that your transactions are processed successfully, you will need to select the respective Citibank's BIC when you initiate new fund transfers from your Citibank Singapore Limited accounts and/or inter-bank payment instructions to Citibank Singapore Limited accounts. The changes are relevant to transactions involving a transfer of funds to Global Consumer Banking (Wealth management products and services, unsecured and secured products), CitiBusiness Banking accounts and Citi International Personal Bank accounts, and is applicable to all Fast and Secure Transfer (FAST), inter-bank GIRO, MAS Electronic Payment System (MEPS) and incoming SGD Telegraphic Transfers.

You can make these transfers via the Citi Mobile® App or log in to Citibank Online. It can be found under Payments and Transfers, select a payee to begin. You can also walk into a Citibank branch to make a manual instruction.
Group 1 currencies:
Yes, you may book a rate with your Treasury Sales Officer, and input your Foreign Exchange Contract number in the online instruction.
Group 2 currencies:
No. At this moment, these new currencies are not available via Treasury Sales Officers.
The maximum transaction limit for both Group 1 and 2 currencies is SGD250,000.00 equivalent.
The minimum transaction limit for Korean Won (KRW), Taiwan Dollar (TWD), Laotian Kip (LAK) and Nepalese Rupee (NPR) is USD25.00 equivalent.
Group 1 currencies:
Yes, you may submit an online secure message to request for a Foreign Exchange rate from your Treasury Sales Officer.
Group 2 currencies:
No, these 23 currencies will not be available for booking via Treasury Sales Officers.
Transfer may take up to 3 working days from the day of instruction. For Group 2 Currencies, the transfer may take up to 7 to 10 working days, depending on the individual countries and banks receiving the funds.
Rates provided are an "All in Rate", which will be different from the prevailing interbank market rate of the time of execution, as it includes a Bank Spread. Spreads charged are determined by the Bank in its discretion according to the amount placed, and will not exceed 3%.
There will be no fees charged for transfers to Citibank accounts. For transfers made to non- Citibank accounts, there will be a 0.125% commission fee charged (capped at S$200) and a cable fee of S$30 (S$25 for Citi Priority and S$20 for Citigold and Citigold Private Clients).
You may change your sending currency to one that is different from the destination home currency, but a second conversion charge may be incurred, as applied by the beneficiary bank.
You may choose to send your funds in any of the existing currencies currently offered by Citi.
You may log in to Citibank Online or the Citi Mobile® App to view your transfer history.
Depending on your preferred channel of alerts and alert threshold, you may be notified via SMS or email.
For Group 2 Currencies, this service will not be available at the following (SGT) timings:
- Mondays to Saturdays, during system downtimes: 6:30AM to 8:00AM

* Transfer is subject to maximum daily limit, and may take up to 3 working days from the day of instruction. Some transfers may take up to 7 to 10 working days, depending on the corresponding countries and banks. Additional charges from the corresponding bank and the beneficiary bank may apply. Returned funds would be converted at the prevailing FX rates by third party bank and/or Citibank. Charges may be applied by third party bank. This could result in the converted returned funds being lesser than your original transfer amount. All payments and transfers are subject to the Citibank Online User Agreement. Some or all of the services (including payments and transfers) that may be accessed through Citi MobileĀ® App or Citibank Online may not be available during our scheduled maintenance times. In the event of such unavailability, you may call our 24-Hour CitiPhone Banking at 6225 5225 or visit a Citibank branch to conduct your banking transactions.
