Please be informed that the following Citibank Credit Cardholders will no longer be able to perform any rewards redemptions, view rewards redemption history and Citi ThankYou Points expiry information via the Citibank Online – Citi ThankYou Rewards Portal with effect from:

  • 21 January 2024 for Citi PremierMiles Cards and Citi Rewards Cardholders; and
  • 25 February 2024 for Citi ULTIMA Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi Platinum Card, Citi Clear Platinum Card, Citi Gold Card, Citi Classic Card, Citi Clear Classic Card, Citi Clear Card, Citi Business Card and Citi Corporate Cardholders

Pay with Points

What is Pay with Points?
Pay with Points is an instant gratification channel for rewards redemption where cardmembers can choose to pay for their purchase with their Rewards to enjoy savings. "Rewards" means Points, Miles.
How does Pay with Points work?
Pay with Points Online via Citi Mobile App®
  1. Login to the Citi Mobile App®. Tap on your rewards balance on the top of the screen and open the Rewards Dashboard.
  2. Tap on "Pay with Points" or "Pay with Miles"
  3. Select the transactions you wish to redeem for. You can select up to 5 other transactions to redeem. Review and tap on "Pay with Points" or "Pay with Miles" to proceed with the redemption.
  4. Upon confirmation of successful redemption, a statement credit will be reflected in your next statement of account.
Pay with Points via Merchants
  • For One-Time Enrollment:
    1. Download the latest AXS m-Station mobile app. Do ensure to secure your account with a passcode when you login.
    2. Go to the main navigation on the top left and select Settings -> Manage Payment Modes -> Pay with Credit Card Points -> Citi Pay with Points.
    3. Enter the last 4 digits of your credit card number and full mobile number, verify your OTP and you will be successfully enrolled.
  • For Redemption:
    1. Pay for your bills, fines, top-ups or any other services available on AXS.
    2. After successful payment of an eligible transaction, your rewards balance will be shown along with the amount required to redeem.
    3. Enter the redemption amount, click on "Redeem" and that completes your transaction! A statement credit will be reflected in your next statement of account.
Always Pay with Points
  1. Login to the Citi Mobile App®. Tap on your rewards balance on the top of the screen and open the Rewards Dashboard.
  2. Scroll down to Always Pay with Points and select your favourite merchants to enroll for automatic redemptions.
  3. Select the amount limit and time period to redeem to complete the setup.
  4. Shop with your favourite merchants and enjoy automatic redemptions on your purchases. An email confirmation will be sent to you.
  5. A statement credit will be reflected in your next statement of account.
Samsung Pay - Citi Pay with Points
  1. Pay for your purchases with Samsung Pay.
  2. Tap on "Citi Pay with Points" notification.
  3. View & choose to redeem from the latest 10 transactions made in the last 30 days.
  4. Tap on "Redeem Now" to proceed.
  5. Upon confirmation of successful redemption, a statement credit will be reflected in your next statement of account.
What transactions are eligible for Pay with Points?
Pay with Points Online
Eligible Purchases are retail purchases made using your Citi Card within 60 days of a Points/Miles redemption date. Temporary authorizations are not eligible for redemption under the Pay with Points service. A "retail purchase" means a purchase of any goods or services by the use of the card and may, at our reasonable discretion include or exclude any card transaction as may be determined by us. Retail purchases exclude annual cardmembership fees, interest, late payment charges, GST, cash advances, easy/ extended payment plans, income tax payments, bill payments (for example, payments via Citibank Online or via any other channel or agent (such as a third party agent for payment of bills) whether for bill payments or otherwise) and any other form of service / miscellaneous fees and such other transactions excluded from earning Points/Miles as set out in the relevant cardmember's agreement applicable to your Citi Card.

Pay with Points via Merchants
Eligible Pay with Points via Merchants refers to the charge of Cardholder’s purchase at Eligible PWP Integrated Merchants to a Citi Card. "Eligible PWP Integrated Merchants" refer to the merchants listed on citibank.com.sg/pwp that have been integrated with Citi’s PWP Program.

Always Pay with Points
Eligible Pay with Points via Merchants refers to retail purchases made using your Citi Card at the point of authorization with an Eligible Always PWP Merchant. "Eligible Always PWP Merchants" refers to the merchants as listed at on the Citi Mobile® App.

Samsung Pay - Citi Pay with Points
Eligible Transaction refers to the charge of Cardholder’s purchase at Participating Samsung Pay PWP Merchants to a Citi Card, where the transaction is made with Samsung Pay and you have the required Points/Miles for redemption. "Participating Samsung Pay PWP Merchants" refer to the merchants that accept Samsung Pay as a form of payment.

Can I use Pay with Points for a transaction if I don't have enough Rewards to cover the entire purchase?
Pay with Points Online
Yes, partial redemption is available, while meeting the minimum transaction amount that the customer can redeem.

Pay with Points via Merchants
Yes. This is applicable for Partial Redemption, while meeting the minimum transaction amount that the customer can redeem (will be shown an error message if amount redeemed is below the minimum).

Always Pay with Points
No. Always Pay with Points is only available for full redemption for the full transaction amount.

Yes, partial redemption is available, while meeting the minimum transaction amount that the customer can redeem.
What happens if I redeemed my Rewards for a statement credit using Pay with Points Online, Pay with Points via Merchants, Always Pay with Points or Samsung Pay - Citi Pay with Points then returned the purchase to or raised a dispute with merchant?
In case of merchant disputes, and in the event that a transaction is reversed by a merchant, the dollar transaction amount of the transaction, and not the Rewards used to pay for the transaction, will be credited back to your statement of account.
Do I still have to make the required minimum payment on my credit card account if I receive the statement credits from Pay with Points?
Yes, the required minimum payment reflected on your credit card statement must be paid in accordance with your Citi Card Agreement.
Do I still have to make the full payment on my credit card account if I receive the statement credits from Pay with Points Online, Pay with Points via Merchants, Always Pay with Points or Samsung Pay - Citi Pay with Points amounting to my current month's outstanding amount payable?
Yes, the full payment amount reflected on your credit card statement must be paid in accordance with your Citi Card Agreement. The statement credits will be reflected in your following month's credit card statement.

Cash Rebate

What is Cash Rebate?
It is a service that allows you to redeem cash rebate in blocks of $10 and up to $50 using your Rewards. Upon successful redemption, the cash rebate will be credited back to your next statement of account. "Rewards" means Points, Miles, SMRT$, Rebates and Cash Back.
How does Cash Rebate Work?

Can supplementary cardmembers perform a Cash Rebate redemption?
This service is not applicable for supplementary cardholders.
What are the available cash rebate amounts?
Cash Rebate is available in blocks of $10 and up to $50. For details, please refer to the Cash Rebate tab.
How much Cash Rebate can I redeem?
There is a limit of up to $50 per redemption. However, there is no limit to the number of times you can redeem. The amount of Cash Rebate you can redeem is also limited to the available Rewards balance you have.
Is the Cash Rebate transferrable to another card account?
No. Cash Rebate is not transferrable and will be credited to the credit card that you redeemed from.
Are there charges to use this service?
The Cash Rebate SMS service is free of charge. However, you shall bear any costs of mobile data or SMS costs incurred in the process of this service.
I've received an error/rejection message for my Cash Rebate SMS redemption.
You may receive an error or rejection SMS due to one of the following scenarios. Please check to ensure that you fulfil the criteria for Cash Rebate SMS:
  1. Insufficient Rewards:
    View your rewards balance via the Citi Mobile® App or SMS to 72484: RWDSBAL<space>Last 4 digits of your card number e.g. RWDSBAL 1234
  2. Incorrect SMS format:
    Please ensure that your SMS follows the format below:

I am currently located overseas and would like to perform a Cash Rebate SMS redemption, am I still eligible?
Yes, you can make a Cash Rebate SMS redemption while overseas.
Please send the SMS from your mobile phone number registered in Citibank's records. Do note that you may incur overseas SMS charges, please check with your mobile operator for more information.

How is my information in Citi ThankYou Rewards connected to my Citibank credit card account?
Information in your Citi ThankYou Rewards profile, such as address, email and phone number, comes from the information you provided at account opening. To update any of your personal information, please go to Citibank Online at www.citibank.com.sg, Citi Mobile App® or contact CitiPhone at 6225 5225. It may take up to one day for the changes to be reflected on your Citi ThankYou Rewards profile.
Where do I find my Points/Miles balance?
You can now view all your Points/Miles balance in a single glance on the homepage when you logged in to Citi Mobile App®.
How can I redeem my Points/Miles?
Depending on the Citi ThankYou Rewards features eligible for your card, Points/Miles can be redeemed for a wide range of products and experiences that include vouchers and cash rebates. Explore all the options available to you log in to Citi Mobile App®.

Simply follow the steps below to browse and redeem Points/Miles on Redemption Catalogue for rewards via Citi Mobile App®:
  • Log in to the Citi Mobile App® and tap on Rewards Currency Bar
  • Tap on 'Redemption Catalogue'
  • Browse by specific categories, rewards applicable for your available Points/Miles, or view the entire list of rewards
  • Select preferred reward and quantity for redemption
How long after I make a purchase with my Citibank credit card will it take for my Points/Miles to appear in my rewards balance?
Points/Miles received on eligible new purchases will appear in your rewards balance within 24 hours of being posted to your Citibank credit card account. Special bonus Points/Miles may take 1 to 2 additional billing cycles to appear (approximately 30-60 days).
What does Adjusted/Forfeit/Redeemed Points/Miles mean?
Redeemed points are the Points/Miles you have already used to redeem for rewards and have been deducted from your Points Balance.

Adjusted Points/Miles will appear in your rewards Balance following a resolution in the rare case that you make a return, or have a problem with a reward you received, or if there was a mistake in the way your Points/Miles were calculated/awarded.

Forfeited Points/Miles will no longer be available for redemption in instances where the Citibank credit card account tied to Citi ThankYou Rewards has been closed at your request, or canceled by Citibank due to delinquency, before such Points/Miles were redeemed.
How are the rewards sent to me?
Vouchers are sent via normal post. For Cash Rebate and other rewards that does not need to be shipped, you will be notified during checkout when you will receive the reward.
When will my rewards vouchers be delivered?
Physical rewards vouchers shipped from Singapore will be sent via normal post to you and would at the minimum, take 7 working days, whilst delivery of electronic rewards vouchers would at the minimum take 5 working days.
Can I send my rewards to an address other than my billing address?
No, all rewards can only be sent to your card billing address.
How long are my reward vouchers valid for?
All Citibank rewards vouchers are valid for a period of 3 months from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified.
What do I need to do to collect my rewards?
You will need fill in your credit card number and sign on your Citibank Reward voucher before presenting it at the respective shop or redemption outlet to claim your reward. Any incomplete rewards voucher will not be accepted.
Can I cancel my redemption?
Once submitted, all redemptions are final and may not be cancelled.

Points Transfer

How can I transfer Points/Miles?
Once on the Citi Mobile App®:
  1. Select the participating travel loyalty program you want to transfer Points/Miles to.
  2. Select the number of Points/Miles you want to transfer.
  3. Confirm and accept the terms and conditions.
Can Points Transfer requests be canceled?
No. Points Transfer requests cannot be cancelled or reversed. Once your Points Transfer redemption is submitted, the Points/Miles may not be converted or transferred back.
Do the Points/Miles that I transfer expire, have blackout dates, or any other restrictions?
The Points/Miles Points that you transfer become subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable participating travel loyalty program that you transferred your Points/Miles to. Once transferred, please check with the applicable participating travel loyalty program for more details.
Are there any restrictions on the amount of Points/Miles or number of times I can transfer?
There may be specific minimum thresholds for individual participating travel loyalty programs. Sign on to Citi Mobile App® to see the current minimum Points Transfer requirements by participating travel loyalty program by clicking on "Points Transfer".
Is there a fee to transfer Points/Miles?
An administrative fee of SGD27.25 (inclusive of GST) will be charged for each Points Transfer. This Fee is waived for Points Transfer from a Citi ULTIMA Card.

Please note that the billing of the administrative fee may be split up into separate charges under the description of "(Name of Points Transfer Participating Loyalty Program)" and "GST on Miles Transfer Fee" and may be billed in different statements of account.

Please note that the charging of the administrative fee based on the applicable date will be at the point of processing of the Points Transfer request, which is generally 2-3 business days after the Points Transfer request is made (ie. if the Points Transfer request is made on 31 December 2023, the administrative fee will be processed on or around 3 January 2024 and the administrative fee will be SGD27.25 (inclusive of GST).
When will my airline miles or hotel points be posted to my loyalty program member account after I complete a transfer?
Airline miles or hotel points will be posted to the applicable participating travel loyalty program within 5-7 days, except for Etihad Guest and Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus, which will be posted within 14 business days.
Can Points/Miles be transferred to a participating travel loyalty program account that is not under my name?
No. The first and last names on both your Citibank credit card account and the participating travel loyalty program account must match in order to complete a Points Transfer redemption.

Points refer to the Points earned on Citi Classic, Citi Gold, Citi Platinum, Citi Rewards and Citi Prestige credit cards or the Ultima Dollars earned on Citi ULTIMA credit cards.

Miles refer to the Citi Miles earned on Citi PremierMiles Credit Cards.

Rebates refer to the Citi M1 Rebates earned on Citi M1 Cards only and will be eligible for Pay with Points via SMS only.

SMRT$ refer to the SMRT Dollars earned on Citi SMRT Cards only and will be eligible for Cash Rebate via SMS only.

Cash Back refer to the Cash Back Dollars earned on Citi Cash Back+ Cards only and will be eligible for Pay with Points via SMS and Cash Rebate via SMS only.

An administrative fee of SGD27.25 (inclusive of GST)* will be charged for each Points Transfer.
